My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Joanna was living in a very terrible environment before she came into our rescue. She was one of 12 cats living in a 24x36 kennel in the backseat of a homeless woman's car. The 12 cats were in the kennel with a litter box and food bowl and were literally laying on top of each other. They were all malnourished and covered in fleas. Since she was rescued, she has gained weight, tested negative for diseases, been vaccinated and spayed.  Joanna is a sweet, small girl but shy and timid. She will need a period of adjustment but after that she will be a loving cat who loves to be held. She would be best as an only cat in a home without children. She was born in December 2024. She has been spayed & is up to date on her vaccinations. All of our cats are fostered in Tennessee but we transport to most states.

More about this rescue

Wild About Cats of Cumberland County is an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization dedicated to humanely reducing the outside cat population in Cumberland County through Trap-Neuter-Return. Neutered feral cats are placed at feeding stations that also provide shelter. Young kittens and friendly strays are neutered and provided medical care before being placed for adoption.
