Meet 9-year-old Luna: A queen looking for her throne! If you’re someone who respects boundaries, adores a cat with attitude, and wants a loyal, affectionate companion with a little sass sprinkled on top, Luna may just be your perfect match.
Luna’s story begins in Neshaminy Falls in Montgomeryville, where she was being lovingly fed by a kind woman until circumstances forced that caregiver to move away. When Luna was rescued, it quickly became clear that she hadn’t always been on her own. Already spayed and declawed, Luna was almost certainly once a cherished house cat who was sadly lost or abandoned along the way.
Now safe and cared for, Luna is ready for her next chapter.
Luna is a true diva in every sense of the word. She knows exactly what she likes, wants it on her terms, and isn’t shy about voicing her opinions. She’s very vocal, full of personality, and has no trouble letting you know when something meets her standards or when it absolutely does not. That said, when Luna approves of you, she really approves. She adores affection, soaking up pets and scratches, and she enjoys cuddling with her favorite people. If she wants to be pet and you're not doing it, she will get on her hind legs and rub her paws on your legs to let you know it's time for pets!
Luna would thrive as the center of attention. She does not get along with other cats or dogs and would do best as the only pet in the home. Because she prefers calm and predictability, a home without children is ideal.
In addition to being declawed, Luna has no teeth, which doesn’t stop her from living comfortably. She also has a chronic runny nose that’s well-managed with medication, currently given daily, but will move to every other day soon.
Luna is looking for an adult-only home where she can receive plenty of love, attention, and appreciation for her bold personality. Meet Luna today!

Additional adoption info
During review of the application if you rent your home, we confirm with your landlord that you are allowed to have the cat per your lease.
We also consider if a particular cat is a good fit for your home. Certain cats will do better in homes without small children, or without other cats. Other cats may need to be adopted with a cat that they are bonded with. So we make sure that the cat and the home are a good match before completing an adoption.
Some of our fosters allow trial adoptions, where you would have 2-3 weeks to make sure that the cat being adopted was accepted by the other pets in your home. If you are interested in this, please ask your Adoption Representative.
All cats adopted from Stray Cat Blues have been screened for feline leukemia and FIV, inoculated, sterilized and wormed when they first come to us. Additional vet work is completed for those cats that require additional care. Healthy, adoptable cats and kittens are then housed through our network of foster homes until they are adopted.
You are also welcome to come visit cats at our PetSmart Collegeville and PetSmart North Wales/Montgomeryville locations (see times for adoption showings). If you see a cat there that you like, you can complete an adoption application there in person.
Questions - email us at: contact@straycatblues.org. We are happy to answer general questions, and also put you in touch with the foster families for questions about specific cats.
Adoption Fees:
• $150 - Kittens up to one year of age
• $100 - For cats over one year and up to 7 years of age
• $70 - For cats 7 years of age and over.
All fees are subject to Pennsylvania's 6% sales tax and a minimum of $5 or 5% service fee.
Fees for cats with special needs will be determined based upon circumstances and may result in a fee reduction.
