Though Calliope can be a little shy at first, she just needs a bit of patience and reassurance to feel safe. Once she warms up, her playful side begins to shine through. She loves to play and enjoys having fun at her own pace, whether that’s a gentle game or simply being near her favorite people. Her shy nature makes her especially endearing, and she bonds deeply with those who take the time to earn her trust.

"To provide service to the people and the animals of Davis County, through the professional operation of the Davis County Animal Shelter and animal care and control programs. Services shall be rendered in an efficient, effective, and conscientious manner. These services shall include, but are not limited to; sheltering of unwanted, stray and abandoned pets, euthanasia of animals, adoption, redemption, lost and found services, providing of resource information, and public education as well as the taking and processing of all requests for service. These and other similar services shall be provided in a friendly, compassionate, and pro-active manner at all times."
