My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Checkers, a 1 and a half-year-old long-haired black-and-white gentleman with a heart as soft as his fluffy coat. Checkers is an extremely sweet boy who adores human attention and thrives on affection. He loves being petted, soaking up one-on-one time, and will happily lean into every scratch and cuddle you offer. While he can be cat-selective and would do best as the only feline or with a carefully matched companion, he truly shines in a home where he can be the center of attention. Playtime is one of his favorite parts of the day, especially when it’s followed by well-earned treats. He is on a weight-management diet to encourage gradual weight loss and would thrive in a home with someone who can keep track of her progress. Checkers would be a wonderful match for someone looking for a loving, gentle companion who enjoys bonding closely with his people and being spoiled with love, play, and plenty of tasty rewards.
