Are you looking for a shadow that wags? A tiny detective with a nose for adventure (and dropped popcorn)? Meet Henry, an 18-month-old Beagle who is officially looking for his forever co-pilot.
At just 12 pounds, he’s essentially a "fun-sized" version of a real dog. He’s small enough to fit in your lap, but his heart is roughly the size of a Great Dane’s.
The Ultimate Socialite: He’s been raised with other dogs and thinks everyone is his best friend.
The Peacemaker: He is both cat-friendly and kid-friendly. Whether it’s a feline roommate or a sticky-handed toddler, he’s just happy to be part of the pack.
The Snuggle Specialist: When he isn't busy investigating a "suspicious" scent in the backyard, his favorite hobby is professional-grade cuddling.
Being a Beagle, he does come with a few standard features. He has a nose that occasionally "overrules" his brain, and he might offer you a classic "awoo" or two to tell you about his day. He’s 18 months old, so he still has that goofy puppy energy but is old enough to know that naps are a top priority.
Henry is an owner surrender through no fault of his own. He is looking for a home where he can get all the ear scratches he deserves and a family that will appreciate his wagging tail and soulful eyes.
Stats at a glance:
Age: 18 Months
Weight: 12 lbs (The perfect travel size!)
Compatibility: Dogs â Cats â Kids â
"I may be small, but I promise to fill up every corner of your home with love (and maybe a little bit of howling if the mailman arrives)." — Henry, Beagle Extraordinaire
Henry is up to date on vaccines and tested negative for heartworm. He has been neutered and has a microchip. His adoption fee is $450.
Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through, they deserve a loving, committed home.
