My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jan is a playful, affectionate little girl with a big heart and a curious mind. She loves being part of whatever’s going on—whether that’s chasing toys, wrestling with her siblings, or supervising from a cozy perch. Jan is especially snuggly once playtime winds down and will happily curl up with her people for cuddles. She’s very food-motivated (treats are the way to her heart!) and does wonderfully with kids, making her a loving and gentle addition to a busy, happy home.

At Queen City Cats, we believe two kittens are better than one! We only adopt kittens 6 months and younger out in pairs or to another household with another young cat for the kitten's social and emotional health.

We provide safe, loving foster homes for cats of all ages until they are adopted. They receive socialization, a nutritious diet, any necessary vet care (including spay/neuter surgery) and lots of TLC while in our care. We do our best to find the right home for each cat considering their unique personalities and ongoing needs. We also offer resources, advice and support to cat caretakers in our area.
