Lux and Onyx are a bonded pair of male rats. They were born February 2025.
Lux is the tan rex, and he is neutered due to a condition called cryptorchidism, where one of his testicles did not descend and was in his abdomen. To prevent any future issues, we had him neutered. His brother, Onyx, the darker rex, is not neutered.
These boys do very well with out of cage time and like snuggling in their foster mom's shirt. They can be a little iffy about being picked up initially, but settle down really quickly. They are sweet boys and would do well joining an existing mischief, or can stay as just a bonded pair.
