Howdy! You can call me Burp, I guess, because that's the name they gave me here at the shelter; if you adopt me, I'm definitely open to getting a different name! I'm a grey and white boy kitty who is 9 months old. I love to play with a good feather toy--it doesn't have to be attached to a wand or stick, but I love those, too! I am almost as outgoing as my buddy Belch, and I am friendly and fun-loving, and you are definitely welcome to pick me up and hold me, especially if you give me lots of pets while you hold me. I would love to be adopted by someone who will give me lots of attention! (Burp is shown in one photo with his brother, Belch, the black kitty.)
The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.
Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. Phone: 770-214-3590. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
