We adopted Argus from the Humane Society when he was about 5 years old (we estimate he is around 10 years old now). He is the sweetest dog and loves attention and lots of snuggles. He loves people of all ages - including kids. We have a big family with lots of kids and he has never done anything to hurt the kids (other than accidentally knocking them down with his tail). He is housebroken. He is reactive to other dogs, though over the years he has improved to lunging only when another dog gets too close. He walks well on a leash without pulling (though he loves to smell everything). Before we adopted him he was a stray and got into a tiff with a porcupine, which injured his left eye. There are no medical issues associated with the injured eye. Our life circumstances have changed to the point that we are no longer able to give him the attention that he deserves, which is why we would like to rehome him to a family who would give him lots of love.
