Luna came to live with me in September 2022 as an emergency rehome from a young family relocating to California. Since then, we have been each other's emotional support. I have since retired, become partially blind, and now need to relocate for financial and personal safety reasons. As much as Luna and I have come to rely on each other for constant companionship and emotional stability, I have been forced to the realization that I can no longer physically or financially care for her.
