Some dogs run into your life at full speed. Others wait quietly for the perfect human that is patient enough to change everything
Those cute pictures? That’s me. Hi, I’m Juice Box.
Name: Juice Box
Age: 2 years
Gender: Female
Breed: A little mystery mix — maybe chow chow, maybe corgi, definitely 100% sweetheart
Weight: ~30 lbsI’m a quiet, tender soul who is still learning what it means to be a dog with people. I didn’t get much practice being out in the world before now, so I’m not the bold, bouncy type. I feel safest in my crate (I actually love it), and when things feel overwhelming, I like to tuck myself into a cozy corner and watch from there.
I’m incredibly calm and thoughtful. Other dogs make me feel a little uncomfortable, but I have been doing okay with my foster siblings. I’m mostly scared of them. I’m not a big explorer yet, and I’ve never been on a leash, but with time, patience, and lots of encouragement (especially the snack-based kind), I know I can learn. Speaking of snacks… food is my favorite love language. I've also shown some interest in playing with a ball!
I am crate trained and learning house-training fast. My foster mom is so proud because I'm consistently going outside on my own now. My muscles are still catching up as I didn’t get to move around much before, but I’m slowly building strength. One of my favorite things is laying upside down, belly out, just quietly existing. It’s my version of sparkling.
Crate trained : Yes, love it!
House trained : Working on it! Doing awesome with a consistent schedule.
Good with dogs : A bit nervous around them, would do great as an only dog
Good with kids: Not tested, but would probably prefer dog-savvy kids 12+.
Good with cats: Not tested, but we are happy to test if asked.
