PEPPER is a short-haired black and white male tuxedo teenager kitty with cute markings – white toes and belly, white on the lower part of the face and chin, and a white “sleeve”. Add his cute looks to his very cute personality, and you have a winning combination! Pepper is happy, playful, confident and curious. He gets along well with his siblings and with other cats, as well as with friendly dogs and humans. Born to a CRAN cat and fostered from birth, he is well socialized. He loves to chase and pounce, and has enormous curiosity. Prepare to have him follow you around and show an interest in your activities! While not exactly a lap cat, Pepper enjoys affection once he has played out all his energy. He has a great purr machine. Caution should be exercised around open doors and windows, cabinets, and appliance doors. Because of his energy and personality, Pepper needs to live in a home with another young cat for engagement and playtime. He’s very fond of his brother SPARKLES. Pepper is a sweetie who will keep you on your toes!
PEPPER has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and is negative for FeLV and FIV. His adoption fee includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners. You can meet PEPPER at the cattery inside our partner PetSmart in South Eugene (2858 Willamette St) starting on 11/15/2025. Please submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy available at the store, and an adoption counselor will contact you to set up a meet and greet. The $155 adoption fee ($280 for a pair) allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community.
