My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Spork - the silver-striped sweetheart you didn't know you were missing.

This gorgeous young grey tabby is pure love wrapped in soft fur. Spork is the cuddliest cat you'll ever meet, the kind who melts into your arms and insists on being close. Her purr? Thunderous. She'll rattle the windows and shake the floor of your home with her vocalizations. She'll turn it on for you the moment you look at her and doesn't shut it off until she's fully convinced you're obsessed (you will be.)

Spork adores everyone she meets and greets new friends like they've been besties forever. She's affectionate, social, and endlessly sweet, making her the perfect companion for anyone craving constant cuddles, warmth and unconditional love.

If you're looking for a cat who will fill your home with purrs, snuggles, and joy. Spork is ready to move right into your heart.

More about this shelter

Founded in 1941 by the third female graduate from Cornell University’s College of Veterinary Medicine, SAVE is an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit animal shelter dedicated to protecting the health and welfare of homeless companion animals in the greater Princeton area and beyond. Through six core programs of Rescue, Shelter, Health and Welfare, Spay/Neuter, Foster and Adoption.

The SAVE shelter facility has the capacity to house upwards of 100 animals at a time (approximately 75 cats and 25 dogs). The shelter exceeds no-kill benchmark standards and ensures that adoptable animals facing adversity are given a lifeline, a chance to flourish, and the promise of a better tomorrow.
