Poppy is a one person kind of cat. I've had her since she was a kitten. If you sit anywhere long enough and when you go to bed at night, her favorite place is to be on your lap or sleeping on top of you. She loves all her cat towers and beds to lounge in. She loves playing with wand toys and the catnip balls. She's a unique little cat and a bit shy, but when she picks her person, she's all yours. Our one cat has been picking on her and stressing her to the point where she doesn't feel safe to use the litterbox. She's had some accidents outside the box. We changed the litterbox situation to make it better for her and have gabapentin for her, added feliway, but she is still not happy and has accidents if she feels unsafe. I got labs and a urinalysis for her and nothing was found, so she is in good health. With a toddler around and new babies on the way, our household has become way more chaotic than she once knew before the toddler. Between that and our other cat, she isn't happy here anymore. Poppy would love to be in a house that is calm and she can have her person. She isn't really a fan of other cats, unless they leave her alone and she is fine with respectable dogs.
