Fearful Behavior: I can be worried about new people or new surroundings. I prefer to take things at my own pace and will need to go home to a calm environment.

I am a sweet and sensitive girl who takes a little time to build trust and make friends.

I don't appreciate busy environments. You can say I like my peace and quiet.
I do enjoy being pet but I also appreciate having some alone time where I can do my own thing and hang out with you nearby.

My favorite activities are looking out windows and taking naps.
I don't like to share my space with other animals and will need to be your one and only true love.

Meet and greets are done on a first-come/first-served basis. There may be a wait time during our busiest times, including the weekends.

We do not offer holds on any animals at this time.

Additional adoption info

Oregon Humane Society’s Portland and Salem campuses are open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., seven days per week. Adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis.

When you come to the shelter and see a pet you are interested in meeting, please take note of the pet’s name and visit the front desk in the lobby. Our Customer Care team will be happy to assist you with the next steps.
