If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Sharky was rescued off the streets by my friend Kalea! Kalea took great care of her and rehabilitated her over a number of months, many visits to the vet, spay surgery, vaccinations. I was watching Sharky at my house for a weekend and was impressed by her well mannered personality and relaxed easy going nature. I decided to adopt her. After a few weeks, I realized that having a dog as a single person who works as much as I do isn’t the best thing for Sharky. She would be better off with a family who can give her love or someone who doesn’t work as much and can spend more time with Sharky.
I am currently walking her 3 times a day (I don’t have a yard) and am taking dog training lessons. She is very teachable. She listens to commands.
