My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Come say hi to June – one of the friendliest, smartest, most outgoing cats you’ll meet. June is an inquisitive cat who loves to check out all the things. June’s love language? PLAY! This girl loves to play with nearly any toy, but her favorites are strings, feather wands, and her beloved spider toy. Speaking of her spider toy – she loves to fetch! Throw the toy (and any others that she brings to you), and she’ll bring it back, just to have you throw it again.

A few things to know about June:
She’s young with a lot of energy. A few play sessions a day will really help her thrive.
She’s smart! June has learned click training, where she boops your finger, there's a click, and then she gets a treat. (Some more practice needed - look up cat clicker training online :) She also loves food puzzles, a few of which will be sent home with her.
Like all cats, it’s important to read the signs that June sends when she needs space. Watch for a few tail twitches, pupils getting big – that means, “I don't want you to pet me now, but I’d LOVE it if you’d play with me. That’s how I like to bond with my people!”
Children are too much for June. She’d thrive in a mature household with adults who will respect her boundaries.
June appreciates a few scratches on the head and chin. Full-body pets can leave her feeling a little overwhelmed. Go slow and let June tell you what she likes.
She’ll join you as you watch TV or snuggle in bed. She’ll likely bring you her favorite toys, too!
Would do best as the only cat or with cats who keep to themselves, she seems like she would do ok with a dog as long as they have personal space.
