Their adoption process
As of June 15, 2021 our shelter has re-opened fully to the public and is conducting adoptions first-come, first-serve.
Adoption steps
- Visit the Facility and Find a Pet
- Visitors are welcome to browse any time we are open.
- Meet the Pet
- If visitors would like to meet a pet outside of the kennel, a staff member or volunteer can assist them.
- Submit Application
- If it seems like a good match, the visitor will fill out a short questionnaire to help us guide their individual adoption consult.
- Sign Adoption Contract
- All adopters sign a contract and any disclosures required for that specific animal.
- Pay Fee
- With the exception of sponsored pets or specific promotions, all animals have an adoption fee.
- Take the Pet Home
- Adoptions occur same day and take usually about 1 hour in total.
Go meet their pets
You can meet our pets at our facility anytime during our open hours! We are open Tuesday - Sunday from the hours of 12PM - 6PM. We stop processing new adoptions at 5:30pm so if you are hoping to adopt the day you visit, please give yourself ample time to browse and meet with animals. Thanks!
