Introducing ROMAN... DOB est 10/1/2019, male, neutered, vaccinated...

This SUPER handsome, SUPER sweet gentleman is looking for a Forever Family that will truly cherish him as part of their family, not to be abandoned... ROMAN joined a foster home with our rescue when a local vet contacted a foster regarding this medium-haired cutie... He had apparently made the move from Colorado to Alabama with those who adopted him, however when one of them moved back to Colorado - the other abandoned ROMAN and no longer wants him back. He was initially found as a stray, drooling, because he had bitten an electrical cord - and was taken to a vet by a Good Samaritan. The back story soon came to light. This boy is resilient though - it'll be fine - he's now looking forward to a wonderful future!! He's been fully checked by our Vet and had needed Dental work done - and is now ready to be Adopted!!  ROMAN enjoys being brushed thankfully - just LOOK at that stunning coat!! He also enjoys cat naps, cat toys and yummy Temptation Treats!!  If you're interested in meeting him, please EMAIL info@ffhsv.org or if you see him while he's staying at the Jones Valley Petsmart kitty room, call one of the fosters on his cage card!  You may also fill out an application above!!

More about this rescue

Forgotten Felines, Inc. is a 501-(3)(c) non-profit charitable organization. Our primary purpose is to manage the feral cat population in our area by trapping, neutering/spaying and re-releasing (TNR) cats back into their original territories. We also work to provide safe temporary homes for cats that are homeless, unwanted, abandoned or lost. Some of our animals have been rescued from dangerous conditions and cannot be released back to their original territory...these animals are housed in foster homes until permanent loving homes can be found. The majority of these animals are friendly abandoned pets, that are not feral, and we offer these loving and grateful animals for adoption at Petsmart in Jones Valley, Huntsville, AL. We also provide help to people who are elderly, disable, financially challenged and those who love their animals but cannot provide them with the necessary care.

Our Mission...

(1) Control feral cat populations through neutering/spaying
(2) Educate the public about about proper pet care and responsibility, especially neutering/spaying and advising about pet behavior and medical issues that often result in families giving up their pets
(3) Humanely remove and relocate ferals when possible
(4) Adopt out loving, grateful animals into permanent forever homes
(5) Raise necessary funds to build a shelter for rescued cats
