Meet Yoda, a 1½-year-old, 16-pound Terrier/Shih Tzu mix with a big personality packed into a petite body. With his wispy “wild child” ears and mischievous sparkle, Yoda is equal parts charm, fun, and heart.
Yoda was originally found as a stray and is now thriving in a foster home while waiting for his forever family. He is a very sweet—but shy—boy who needs a patient, understanding home that will allow him the time he needs to feel safe and confident. If you’re familiar with the 3-3-3 rule (and if not, we encourage you to look it up!), it describes Yoda perfectly. He isn’t a dog who will instantly settle in, but with patience and consistency, he blossoms. Once he trusts you, he’s deeply affectionate and wonderfully loyal.
An energetic and happy pup, Yoda loves staying active. Long walks, games of fetch, hikes, shopping trips, and patio dining are right up his alley. He would also enjoy having a friendly canine companion to wrestle and learn from, along with a fenced yard for zoomies and sunny lounging.
Yoda is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines—fully ready for his next great adventure. Now all he needs is the right person (or people) to take that journey with him.
