My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Lincoln Logs!

This gorgeous long-haired gentleman is as beautiful on the inside as he is on the outside.
With his soft flowing coat and soulful eyes, Lincoln turns heads wherever he goes - but it's his loving nature that truly steals hearts.

Lincoln is incredibly friendly and thrives on human attention.
One of his favorite things in the world? Belly rubs! Yes-this sweet boy happily rolls over and invites you to shower him with affection.
He's gentle, affectionate, and always ready to be your loyal companion.

His journey hasn't always been easy.
Lincoln was rescued from abandonment alongside 30 other cats, a tough start that makes his trusting, loving personality even more remarkable.
Despite his humble beginnings, he holds no fear-only love and gratitude for a second chance.

Now Lincoln Logs is ready for a forever home where he can be cherished like he deserves. If you're looking for a stunning, affectionate cat with a heart of gold, Lincoln may be your perfect match.

More about this shelter

The BC SPCA is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for domestic, farm and wild animals in British Columbia. Through its locations and operations across the province the BC SPCA provides emergency medical care and sheltering for more than 37,000 animals each year. The society also conducts more than 4,600 cruelty investigations and provides a wide range of advocacy and education programs for domestic, farm and wild animals through its Provincial Office.

Our mission, vision and charter is at the heart of all we do to rescue, protect and care for animals. It is also the driving force behind our animal welfare and education programs.

Our Charter:

The BC SPCA Charter is the foundation that guides the work we do:

Whereas:

The world is inhabited by many species sharing a common ecosystem of air, earth, and water. We recognize and value our interconnectedness with all animals.

Therefore:

The BC Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for the animals of the world we share.

We pledge our energies to inspire and mobilize society to create a world in which all animals, who depend on humans for their well-being, experience, as a minimum, five essential freedoms:

1. Freedom from hunger and thirst

2. Freedom from pain, injury, and disease

3. Freedom from distress

4. Freedom from discomfort

5. Freedom to express behaviours that promote well-being.
