My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🏰 Meet Nottingham - Your Little Knight in Shining Fur! 🏰

Say hello to Nottingham, an 8-week-old Husky mix with a gorgeous brown and tan coat and a heart full of adventure! This brave little guy is playful, curious, and ready to protect your castle (or at least your couch) with endless love and loyalty.

Nottingham is all about zoomies, snuggles, and exploring every corner of his kingdom. He's smart, sweet, and destined to be your loyal sidekick for all life's quests-whether it's hiking trails or cuddling after a big day of play.

Quick Stats:
✨ Age: 8 weeks
✨ Breed: Husky mix
✨ Color: Brown & Tan
✨ Gender: Male

*Please note - We are accepting local applicants only at this time as he is still awaiting his neuter appointment at the Vancouver SPCA Hospital, and vaccine boosters. His adopter will need to be able to transport him to the upcoming appointments.

Nottingham will be available Friday Dec. 19, we recommend being here for when we open (1pm) as we normally have a line up for puppies. We run on a first come first considered basis, but an online application only does not put you inline.

The BC SPCA is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for domestic, farm and wild animals in British Columbia. Through its locations and operations across the province the BC SPCA provides emergency medical care and sheltering for more than 37,000 animals each year. The society also conducts more than 4,600 cruelty investigations and provides a wide range of advocacy and education programs for domestic, farm and wild animals through its Provincial Office.

Our mission, vision and charter is at the heart of all we do to rescue, protect and care for animals. It is also the driving force behind our animal welfare and education programs.

Our Charter:

The BC SPCA Charter is the foundation that guides the work we do:

Whereas:

The world is inhabited by many species sharing a common ecosystem of air, earth, and water. We recognize and value our interconnectedness with all animals.

Therefore:

The BC Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for the animals of the world we share.

We pledge our energies to inspire and mobilize society to create a world in which all animals, who depend on humans for their well-being, experience, as a minimum, five essential freedoms:

1. Freedom from hunger and thirst

2. Freedom from pain, injury, and disease

3. Freedom from distress

4. Freedom from discomfort

5. Freedom to express behaviours that promote well-being.
