Odie is a handsome black labradoodle whose estimated DOB is 6/1/2024 and on 12/18/2025 he weighed in at 52 pounds. He was surrendered to us because he kept knocking down the small children in the home. His previous owners tell us that he is good with other dogs, though we always recommend bringing yours up for a proper dog-meet before adopting a new family member. They also tell us that Odie likes cats, but plays a little too rough, just like with small children. We can tell you that he is super sweet and very playful! He knows sit and loves to fetch tennis balls! Come meet Odie today and give him the second chance that he so deserves!
Our adoption fee is $125 for small breed dogs under 20 pounds and $100 for all other dogs and cats unless otherwise noted in their bio. Every pet available for adoption is current on shots spayed/neutered, and microchipped. You may submit an application online for pre-approval and to set an appointment or you can visit the shelter Wednesday - Sunday from 11am - 5pm. Please note that the kennels close for pet viewing at 4:30pm.

The mission of the Humane Society of Pulaski County is to rescue, care for and find homes for abandoned, abused, homeless and unwanted animals; to reduce suffering of animals; and to reduce the number of homeless animals through adoption, spay/neuter, and through education.
