Bobo is a 2 ans half-year-old neutered male weighing 36.5 lbs who is heartworm negative and described as push-and-pull social in playgroup. He is friendly, curious, and affectionate with both staff and volunteers, greeting people at the kennel with a loose, relaxed body and wagging tail. Bobo is generally easy to leash, walks calmly to play areas, and remains composed around other dogs, even when they are barking. In the yard, he enjoys exploring, playing with toys, and engaging with handlers, frequently soliciting pets and leaning into affection. He is comfortable being handled, sits for treats, and happily interacts with people, often nudging or licking to continue receiving attention.
Bo demonstrates a strong bond with humans, often jumping onto laps or leaning heavily into petting, yet he is capable of independent exploration and quickly returns to handlers when called. He shows appropriate manners both in playgroup and during walks, is easy to return to his kennel, and tolerates leash adjustments without issue. Overall, Bobo is a social, loving, and relaxed dog who thrives on human interaction and would make a wonderful companion for an active household that can provide attention, play, and affection.

Since all rescue dogs live in foster homes, there is no single facility to meet pups.
You will need to contact Ewenity Farms HDH to make arrangements to meet the rescue dog after you have an approved app on file. Apps can be filled out at ewenityfarm.org

More about this rescue
We are a small, foster-based rescue organization located in Southwest Florida. Being small helps us give more one-on-one attention to individual dogs and their needs. Rescued dogs are kept in our homes and treated as our own. Herding dogs are unique. They are highly intelligent and require much of the owner’s attention. The dogs are evaluated, when they come into the rescue, for any temperament and health issues. Then they are given basic obedience, socialization and rehabilitation as it is necessary.
It is our sole purpose to find forever homes for these loving, wonderful dogs that have been discarded through no fault of their own. All adopted dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on shots, heartworm negative, micro-chipped, and on flea and heartworm preventative.
