Tinselbug came to us when she ended up at the overcrowded shelter in Detroit. We swooped this sweet girl to safety and those days are now behind her.
We estimate Tinselbug to be 2-3 years old, She is a pint sized girl, weighing only 41 lbs. Tinselbug is spayed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped.
We are looking for a FOSTER to ADOPT family for Tinselbug. She is heartworm positive and has started her treatment, but we would love to place her in her FUREVER home sooner than later. (Heartworm disease is NOT contagious and we pay for the treatment)
Tinselbug is such a sweet girl that is coming out of her shell more and more each day. She is currently living with other dogs and does well with them. Unfortunately we have not had a chance to test her with cats. Tinselbug is a lower energy dog, that loves cuddling on the couch and is pretty low maintenance. She is working VERY hard on her potty training and getting better with it each day.

We are three passionate, animal loving dog moms who met through various volunteer efforts at local rescues in the Detroit area. We continued talking outside of volunteering and quickly came to realize that we all had similar goals, to help as many animals in need that we possibly could. In the Detroit area, there are so many animals who need homes, medical attention, and love.
We decided that we wanted to be able to do more to help these animals. We are raising funds through selling merchandise, fundraising, donations, and supporting local community events. All funds raised will be used to establish a nonprofit status, fund the medical needs of local dogs, and find shelter animals their furever home.
