My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bella is a very loving sweet cat who is 9 years old (born approximately 3/5/2016). She has very cute white mittens and beautiful coloring. Bella loves being brushed and enjoys being picked up which isn’t always that common with cats.

Bella enjoys sitting on laps or sleeping nearby when you’re relaxing and while she enjoys being petted she is not a fan of belly rubs or having her neck petted. Her favorite spots to be petted are the top of her head and her back. She also enjoys kneading on a soft blanket. She talks a bit when you first get home but otherwise she is a pretty quiet cat with a nice purr when she’s sitting on your lap.

When she knows the person who is visiting, she will happily greet them but when someone new arrives, she will likely hide initially especially if the person is very loud. She will thrive in a calm, peaceful environment with only older children or adults. She hasn’t lived with other cats or dogs before so we don’t know for certain how she would do but we suspect that she would appreciate being an only pet so she can get all the love and attention for herself.

Bella isn’t quite as playful as she was when she was younger but does still enjoy chasing or juggling some cat toys. She has a special piece of old furniture that will go with her to her new home if the adopter would like it. She is very good about only scratching on that rather than any other furniture.

This sweet beauty loves to be around people but she also enjoys some times of being independent. If you have a window that gets sun, she will enjoy hanging out on a shelf or cat tree nearby and could soak in the sun nearly all day. Bella will go to her new home with several supplies for a great fresh start with her new family. Ask us about her today.

Individual and vet references are checked prior to adoption approval. Adoptions have a two week trial period as needed to ensure that the match between adopter and the cat is perfect.
