Ginger is a whole lot of personality in a TINY package! Ginger came to us a very small kitten with so much will to live. Right away she wanted to explore even though she wasn't feeling her best.
Ginger has a zest for life that is amazing to watch and so special to experience! She absolutely adores her unicorn toy (she has several) and will carry it around with her wherever she goes. She may even entertain a game of fetch a few times with you!
Ginger also adores other cats, she loves to play and wrestle, the other cat may not always be a willing participate but she just goes for it! She would do great with another kitten or confident playful cat. She is also great friends with her 60lb doggy foster brother, so a cat friendly dog would also be a perk for her!
Ginger is a very sweet little girl who loves to meet new people, she is very curious and if you give her some pets or play with her she is all in. She is a very petite little girl and is unlikely to get much bigger (but it could happen!).

Application will be reviewed by the Misfit Team. Then applicant will be contacted to review the application over the phone.

Meet the Pet
Once an application is approved, a meet and greet will be set up to meet they kitty that would be a good fit!

Sign Adoption Contract
Once a match has been made the adoption contract can be completed and the adoption fee collected.

Take the Pet Home
Now you can welcome your new kitty to your family!

Each adoption is unique, we prefer to match the adopter with a kitty (or two). If they have a kitty in mind then we will see if they are a good match, if not we can recommend other kitties that may be a better fit. For kittens under 12 weeks of age priority is given to an adopter with another cat in the home or interested in adopting two kittens.

We are based out of Santa Ana, Orange County, CA. Currently we do not have adoption events but scheduled appointments to meet our available kitties!

Cali’s Misfits was created as a way to give back and honor the memory of Caliopi, who taught us so much about fostering medical kittens. Caliopi was also the best foster momma to many orphan kittens. We want to carry on her legacy by continuing to rescue cats and kittens, particularly orphan kittens. We are drawn to the underdogs and we hope to change the lives of many kitties by giving them a better future.
