What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Meet Kushi (Bengali for “happy”)! Kushi lives up to her name and will greet you with ankle hugs when you get home from a long day. She’ll chirp when she wants something, and will follow you around to supervise - but is quiet all night and enjoys her alone time while you sleep! She’s a mix of playing on her own and with a string toy, but mostly prefers lounging around and observing with the occasional cuddle session. She does amazing with cleaning herself and keeping her litterbox tidy. She is an excellent, tiny cat for someone with any level of experience (as long as her boundaries are respected). She does fine with ~13 hours of being home alone, as long as she’s got her food and litter box cleaned and gets a few minutes of pets with you. Take Kushi home and enjoy watching her casually stick her tongue out on the regular! She’s 2 y/o and scheduled for a spay in January (already paid). The $100 fee goes directly to her care, and you will get a carrier, toy, and food to take home.
