Sweetie has been through so much for such a young cat. Barely a year old herself, she gave birth to a litter of kittens in April 2025 in Paterson NJ and we were able to get them indoors so she was able to lovingly raise them in foster care. Her babies have all found homes months ago… but Sweetie is still waiting sadly.
She’s exactly what her name says — a gentle, affectionate soul who just wants to be loved. But life hasn’t been easy for her, and it shows in the way she flinches at sudden sounds or hesitates before trusting new hands. Once she knows she’s safe, though, she melts into your touch and purrs like she’s finally found peace.
Sweetie needs someone patient and kind who will see the fragile heart behind those wary eyes. She gets along well with other cats and would do best in a calm home where she can blossom at her own pace.
Please consider her today! Sweetie is being fostered in Montville NJ.
