Lucy loves to quietly follow her person from room to room, happy just to be nearby and part of the peaceful rhythm of the home. Lucy accepts gentle pets and enjoys the calm company of other friendly cats.
Originally found as a stray with her kittens, Lucy was taken to Anchorage Animal Care and Control. She raised her babies beautifully, and they were all adopted, but the shelter environment was overwhelming for her, and she shut down from fear. Now in a safe foster home, her true personality is starting to shine through. Lucy will thrive in a quiet, patient home where she’s given the time and understanding she needs to feel safe. She blossoms with kindness, and having another feline friend will help her feel confident and show her affectionate side. She’s not super cuddly but with time and trust she was warm up. Most adult cats are $80 except for those who are sponsored or part of a special. Kittens under 8 months are $145. All adults are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Kittens are adopted at 12 weeks of age or older and are spayed/neutered prior to adoption.
