Meet Sami, he is such a handsome young boy with the white bow tie and white tippy toes......on half his feet like he forgot to put on half of his slippers!
Sami sure does he love to play! He will find anything and play with it. He is easily entertained for hours with a laser light or any toy he has. And food! He loves that too, especially wet food and comes running and will circle your legs while you are preparing it. He likes to be pet and sleep in bed but isn’t fond of being picked up or held. Not yet. For now he will be happy with lots of pets and playtime. A home with older children who won’t try to pick him up is best suited for him.
He is great with other cats and does well with dogs too! Sami will need a kitty friend in his new home to enjoy having the zoomies, playing, and doing what friends do! During the summer he will need to have a safe outdoor yard to play in the grass and chase those pesky mosquitoes. He is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.

Once you meet the kitty, if you and the kitty are a good fit for each other, then you will sign the contract and pay the adoption fee.

We require that adopters sign our adoption contract and a legally binding no-declawing agreement. There is an adoption fee. Most adult cats are $80 except for those who are sponsored or part of a special. Kittens under 8 months are $135. All adults are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Kittens are adopted at 12 weeks of age or older and are spayed/neutered prior to adoption.

Clear Creek Cat Rescue is a group of individuals in Alaska dedicated to rescuing cats in need, giving them care, rehabilitation if needed, and finding happy homes for them. We each give what we can to help these cats get through this most unfortunate time in their lives when they have been taken to the pound or are otherwise lost and homeless. Some of us share our homes with these cats while they are waiting for their forever family, some transport them from place to place, some host adoption fairs, take pictures, post ads. Some offer financial help. And through this dedicated group of people, more than a thousand cats have been saved and found loving homes.
