Meet Miss Abbie
Abbie is a sweet, young pup that is building on her confidence everyday. At about one year old, it is believed that Abbie did not have a lot of interaction with humans. She loves dogs and is very non assertive. She loves to run full speed in the back yard enjoying leaves and sunshine. Abbie is shy, but curious. She has a cute little backwards dance she does when you give her treats. Abbie has a long life full of joy to share. She will do best in a home with a calm dog. She is 8.5 lbs and plays well with dogs that are bigger and smaller than her. She has a very beautiful soft coat that will grow longer like a yorkie. She is easy to groom and bathe. Can you make room in your heart and home for this sweet, young pup?
She is spayed, chipped and hw negative.

Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs.

Vet reference check : Please contact your vet to give consent for record / information release.

Home Check

Home visit: You will be contacted by a volunteer to set up a time for a virtual home/yard check.

Meet the Pet

Call with Foster or Kennel Manager to set up a meet and greet.

5.
Sign Adoption Contract

Pay Fee

Pay the adoption donation fee.

Take the Pet Home

More about this rescue

CAMO Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that offers life, health, and a forever home. We specialize in dogs that other rescues can’t or won’t take due to fearful nature or medical needs. We primarily rescue ‘euthanasia listed’ animals that are in immediate danger of death. We provide shots, spay/neuter, microchip, foster homes, food, medical treatment and love to dogs that are abandoned, unwanted or otherwise in need. We never euthanize an animal to make room for another. In addition to caring for our dogs and finding the best possible home for them, we provide education to the community; encouraging and promoting responsible pet ownership. If needed, our rescue dogs are retrained to socialize in an adoptive loving family. We have had phenomenal success, and amazing support from our community. We believe that animals, as living creatures are entitled to a quality life, respect and compassion. Since humans have domesticated animals, we have a moral and ethical responsibility to care for them. We are partnered with many Shelters to help them reach the same goal.
