Meet Gerri - one of the spice girls. She is about 5 months old and has really started to come out of her shell. Soft as a cloud and once she trusts you, she will seek you out.
Right now, Gerri resides with her two sisters and a brother (from another mother). Her favorite pastimes include watching the world from high places, playing with a ball and a wand toy. Once she settles in your lap for pets, her purr starts up. I adore my sisters and must have a kitty friend in my new home to enjoy games of hide and go seek and chasing the ball down the hall. She is still leery about dogs, but curious at the same time so a gentle mellow dog would be okay in her new home that will respect her space. Older kids would be okay too! She is anxious to feel grass and nature beneath her feet, so a fun safe yard is on her holiday list! With her love for other kitties, she must have a new kitty friend in her home too!

Sign Adoption Contract
Once you meet the kitty, if you and the kitty are a good fit for each other, then you will sign the contract and pay the adoption fee.

We require that adopters sign our adoption contract and a legally binding no-declawing agreement. There is an adoption fee. Most adult cats are $80 except for those who are sponsored or part of a special. Kittens under 8 months are $135. All adults are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Kittens are adopted at 12 weeks of age or older and are spayed/neutered prior to adoption.

Clear Creek Cat Rescue is a group of individuals in Alaska dedicated to rescuing cats in need, giving them care, rehabilitation if needed, and finding happy homes for them. We each give what we can to help these cats get through this most unfortunate time in their lives when they have been taken to the pound or are otherwise lost and homeless. Some of us share our homes with these cats while they are waiting for their forever family, some transport them from place to place, some host adoption fairs, take pictures, post ads. Some offer financial help. And through this dedicated group of people, more than a thousand cats have been saved and found loving homes.
In 2017, we rescued and rehomed approximately 500 cats.
