Orchid is as beautiful as the flower itself! She holds herself proud, beaming with life, and ready to take on the world with grace and elegance. She has the cutest little head tilt at times when she is really paying attention to you and the softest blue eyes. She already knows what she wants to be when she grows up and it comes naturally to her. Exceptional biscuit maker with a layer of nonstop purring! She has been practicing since she was a tiny baby!

When she’s ready to close her eyes and doze into dream land there is one place she wants to be and that’s on your lap. This angel with a heart of gold, a stunning coat, and the most love to give is ready to walk into the home of her new family. She is learning to trust the dog in her foster home and would be fine with gentle older kids. She must have a kitty friend to play with and a safe yard to enjoy the summer months!

Once you see a kitty you like either on our website or any of the social media, call us for a quick screening.

If your interview goes well, we will have you arrange a meeting time with the kitty's foster.

Sign Adoption Contract
Once you meet the kitty, if you and the kitty are a good fit for each other, then you will sign the contract and pay the adoption fee.

We require that adopters sign our adoption contract and a legally binding no-declawing agreement. There is an adoption fee. Most adult cats are $80 except for those who are sponsored or part of a special. Kittens under 8 months are $135. All adults are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Kittens are adopted at 12 weeks of age or older and are spayed/neutered prior to adoption.

Clear Creek Cat Rescue is a group of individuals in Alaska dedicated to rescuing cats in need, giving them care, rehabilitation if needed, and finding happy homes for them. We each give what we can to help these cats get through this most unfortunate time in their lives when they have been taken to the pound or are otherwise lost and homeless. Some of us share our homes with these cats while they are waiting for their forever family, some transport them from place to place, some host adoption fairs, take pictures, post ads. Some offer financial help. And through this dedicated group of people, more than a thousand cats have been saved and found loving homes.
In 2017, we rescued and rehomed approximately 500 cats.
