Hi my name is Diego and I’m very shy, sweet and super chill. But I'm orange and that makes me super handsome. I'm about 5 or 6 months old so I have time to get to know you better and be a purrfect cat!

I get along with everyone and love to cuddle. If you start petting me I’ll purr my little heart out for you and meow if you quit or pet another kitty. My fur is very soft. I love to sleep all the time but if you’ve got a laser for me to chase that would be the best thing ever! I’m very fast. I do startle easy so please be patient as I adjust to my forever home and family.

I will need a kitty friend in my new home and next summer, when I'm your best little guy who is attached to you, I would like to go outside with you to check out our yard.

Clear Creek Cat Rescue rehomes kitties based on 'best fit' approach. We require that adopters sign our adoption contract and a legally binding no-declawing agreement. There is an adoption fee. Most adult cats are $80 except for those who are sponsored or part of a special. Kittens under 8 months are $135. All adults are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Kittens are adopted at 12 weeks of age or older and are spayed/neutered prior to adoption.

Dur to pandemic, we are doing virtual adoptions and slowly transitioning to in person. Our cats are available for adoption from their foster homes located all over southcentral Alaska.

More about this rescue

Clear Creek Cat Rescue is a group of individuals in Alaska dedicated to rescuing cats in need, giving them care, rehabilitation if needed, and finding happy homes for them. We each give what we can to help these cats get through this most unfortunate time in their lives when they have been taken to the pound or are otherwise lost and homeless. Some of us share our homes with these cats while they are waiting for their forever family, some transport them from place to place, some host adoption fairs, take pictures, post ads. Some offer financial help.
In 2020, we rescued and rehomed approximately 650 cats.
