My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Stone 🖤

Stone is a 2-year-old neutered male Cane Corso who has truly shown what resilience looks like. When Stone first came into our care, he was incredibly underweight and unsure of the world around him. Thanks to a loving foster home, he’s gained much-needed weight, started learning to trust again, and begun positive reinforcement training—and wow, has he made progress!

Stone is a sensitive, intelligent boy who thrives with patience, consistency, and kindness. He’s done best with positive reinforcement training, which should be continued in his forever home to help him keep building confidence and skills. Because of his size and learning style, children should be 10 years and older, and any other dogs in the home must meet Stone prior to adoption to ensure a good fit.

In his foster home, Stone also spent time around cats and did well with them, showing appropriate behavior and no chasing, which is a wonderful bonus for a large-breed boy like him.

Stone is heartworm positive, but don’t worry—his treatment will be fully covered by us. What he truly needs now is a committed, understanding family ready to continue the journey he’s already started.

Stone has come such a long way and is such a good boy. He’s ready to keep growing, keep learning, and finally get comfortable with a family who will love him for the rest of his life. If you’re looking for a loyal companion and want to be part of an incredible success story, Stone may be your guy. 🐾
