Adoption steps

  1. Submit Application
    1. Adoption application can be found on our website: tgspca.org
  2. Approve Application
    1. The SPCA will contact personal references, vets, etc. during the application process. You may be contacted for interviews and home checks.
  3. Meet the Pet
    1. We then schedule a meet & greet which generally ends in an adoption if you love your new furry friend.
  4. Sign Adoption Contract
    1. You will sign your adoption contract and pay the adoption fee during the meet & greet.
  5. Pay Fee
  6. Take the Pet Home

The Taylor County SPCA is a 501(c)(3) foster-based animal rescue in Central Kentucky. We are run entirely by volunteers who dedicate their time to rescuing animals in need. Our rescue provides safe and loving foster homes for animals until they are ready to find their forever families!
