-This handsome older gentleman may have some hearing and vision loss, but don’t let that fool you—he gets around just fine and enjoys a good, brisk walk with minimal pulling. Once outside, his true passion comes out: sniffing everything. He’s a professional-level explorer, taking his time to soak in all the smells around him.
-He isn’t motivated by treats or toys, but he is motivated by calm companionship. He’s a laid-back, docile guy who seeks affection in quiet, meaningful ways—leaning into you during pets or resting his head gently between your legs. He’s not overly needy, just happy to be near his person.
-After he’s satisfied his sniffing curiosity, he turns into a total lovebug, offering sweet kisses and settling in for cozy snuggles. He’s the kind of dog who would thrive in a peaceful home where he can enjoy slow walks, soft pets, and all the comfort a senior deserves.

-Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper intros

•Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in.
•There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption.
•To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering.
**And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. Staff will go over how to slowly and properly introduce them after a decompression period.**
