* Neutered: Done.
* Others: Microchipped, and getting heartworm treatment.

2⃣ Rescue Story
* Adogs staff met Odaeng when they were doing volunteer work of winter preparation for the dogs at the Gimje City shelter. The weather was getting colder, and an epidemic disease was spreading in the shelter, which was already in poor environment. It seemed precarious for Odaeng to survive in such a poor condition that Adogs rushed to rescue him.

3⃣ Personality and Characteristics
* With People: Is shy and timid, so still avoids touching of people and tries to hide. Is still adjusting to a new environment. It seem to take time for him to get used to it.
* With Dogs: Even though he is living together with other dogs at the center, he is not very interested in them.
* With Cats: Hasn't met a cat yet.
* Separation Anxiety: Not confirmed because he is living with other dogs in a group at the center.
* House Training: Is only defecating outdoors for now, because he is staying at the center.
* Car Sickness: Has not had any symptoms of car sickness yet.
* Nip: Has never had a bite.
* Barking: Hasn't shown any barking for no reason yet.

Their adoption process

Submit Application

We highly encourage the applicants to be as thorough as possible in their application!

2.
Interview

Once the application is reviewed, applicants will be invited to zoom interviews which last usually 15-20 minutes.

3.
Approve Application

Once applicants pass zoom interview, we will connect adopter to foster team for the most up to date news as well as photos and videos.

Sign Adoption Contract

Pay Fee

The adoption fee is payable in two separate installments.

6.
Take the Pet Home

Adopters will be picking up the adopted pets from the designated airports.

All our dogs fly from Korea to the US when their adoptions are finalized. All adopters must agree to surrender the pets BACK to ADOGS if the adopter no longer wants the pet. All adopters must agree to provide periodic update of the adopted pet.

All our dogs fly from South Korea to the US when their adoptions are finalized so the adopters cannot go through "meet and greet."
But once applicants pass zoom interview, we will connect adopter to foster team for the most up to date news as well as photos and videos. The adopter can post any questions and can make video call as well.

More about this rescue

ADOGS(Adopt Dogs), a non-profit organization, is an abandoned dog foster/adoption organization launched by an individual volunteer group that has rescued, fostered, adopted dogs since 2018.

We are conducting rescue, foster, adopt from South Korea rural shelter. We also rescue dogs irregularly from illegal dog farms or any other places that need help.
We rescue large and small dogs of all breeds, including dogs with special needs.

Although we can't save all abandoned dogs in the world, we are doing our best to the dogs in front of us so that their lives can be changed like any other pets.

In expanding our search for adoption leads, we’ve broadened our mission: To bring at-risk dogs across the Pacific to loving stateside families.

Due to limited demand for large-breed dogs in Korea, arranging for local adoption has proven almost impossible. Instead, we seek to bring these persecuted dogs to the United States where dogs have a higher chance for adoption and survival.
