My name is Merit!

She was abandoned with 8 puppies at a home that a friend bought. She was skin and bones but her puppies were fat and healthy because she took care of them. My kids found homes for all the puppies so we tried to keep her because she's such a good dog. She just wants to be loved. We have another dog and she has bitten my dog twice out of jealousy. She's get so happy that she wiggles. My Son uses a "Merit" saw for work so he named her Merit. She knows her name and always comes when you say her name. She needs to be in a home without other pets. She is loyal and just wants to be with you. She has never shown the slightest bit of aggression towards any human. Everyone we know has dogs and the only person we know who is considering her is a guy that will use her as a guard dog and she will never see a warm bed again with him. I can't express how loving she is and deserves to have a warm and loving home. It breaks my heart to give her up but I have to think of my dog first.
