Sims
DOB: 6/1/25 - 6 months
Weight: 25 lbs
Lab mix
Male - neutered
Dog-friendly
Cats unknown but likely fine
Kid-friendly
Sims has been an angel houseguest for his foster family! He sleeps soundly through the night, loves to snuggle on the couch, is getting the hang of house-training, and is very respectful of the resident dog! He is extremely quiet & content to just soak in all the love his family has to offer!
Sims is still on the shy side from his days growing up on the streets of Alabama. Before his foster family, he didn’t know what being a house dog was! He will need a patient home committed to building his confidence and continuing training. He is food motivated and eager to please so with a little time and patience he will grow up to be the confident dog his foster family knows he can be! He does still spook at times with loud noises or quick movements but in the short time he’s been in foster, that has already improved so much! He also may benefit from having an older confident, neutral dog in the home as it definitely brings him comfort having a canine companion around!
If you would like to give Sims the home and love he deserves, apply for him today! He would love nothing more than a home to call his own this Christmas!
If you are interested in Sims, please apply at the adoption link in the comments below or message the rescue if you are already pre-approved.
