My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Tuxie - the Luxe Lady

Tuxie is a young, sweet tuxedo lady who simply does not want to be an outdoor kitty. She showed up at a volunteer’s home one crisp October day along with a few other strays—but from the very beginning, Tuxie stood out. She was by far the friendliest of the bunch, greeting humans with hope in her eyes and a clear request: please love me.

We strongly suspect Tuxie was left behind when her previous family moved. It’s obvious she was once someone’s pet—she’s comfortable around people, eager for affection, and keeps trying to make her way inside where she knows she belongs. Although she was humanely TNR’d, Tuxie continued to return day after day, waiting for attention and wishing for a warm lap instead of a cold porch.

Tuxie has made it clear she’s ready to trade life outside for a cozy couch, gentle hands, and a forever family of her own. This holiday season, we’re determined to help her find exactly that.

Help us get Tuxie home FUR the holidays—she’s ready to be someone’s beloved indoor girl again.

Come meet her at the Catfe when she makes her debut on 12/22/2025!
