MY RESCUE STORY
I am Shinbi, and I was at the Pyeongtaek shelter on the euthanasia list, even though I didn’t do anything wrong and I am just waiting for someone to choose me.
MY HEALTH
MY PERSONALITY
Hi, there. I am a very handsome and large dog, with a fluffy coat that makes me even cuter and more lovable. I have a wonderful personality and am a Level 2 rescue dog. I might feel a little shy at first, but once I get used to you, I get along very well. I also know basic commands like “sit,” which makes me even easier to love and care for.
MY SOCIAL SKILLS
· With People: I am very friendly and affectionate, and I approach not only people I know but also strangers, rubbing against them and allowing them to pet me easily. I have no experience with children under 13 years old. I can be lifted by placing an arm under my belly and holding me securely.
· With Dogs: I approach unfamiliar dogs to greet them, but I do not usually play with them. I am generally friendly toward dogs that are smaller than me.
· With Cats: I have not been observed around cats.
ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY
I have a moderate energy level and enjoy outdoor activities, but I tend to rest calmly afterward. I have plenty of walking experience, so I do not pull on the leash and follow my handler well.
TRAINING & HABITS
I do not guard my food from people or other dogs, and I rarely bark. I stay calm when in a kennel and usually go to the bathroom only outdoors.
MY IDEAL HOME
My ideal home is with a family or person who can give me gentle guidance and lots of love. I do best in a calm environment where I can enjoy outdoor activities and have space to rest comfortably afterward. I would thrive with people who understand my size and energy, and I get along well with smaller dogs. I haven’t been around young children under 13, so a home with older kids or adults would be perfect. Most importantly, I just want a caring family to call my own.
SPECIAL NOTES
I am a large dog, so other dogs usually don’t bother me, and I am not very interested in them either. When someone passes by, I might sniff them briefly and then move on. I am always kind and friendly to people. When I was first rescued and taken to the hospital, I didn’t like getting a shot and turned my head, but I never tried to bite. Since then, I have never shown any aggression during baths, leash walks, or any other situations. I love to play and run around with small dogs, but I get tired quickly and enjoy sitting quietly to rest. Most of the time, I am calm and stay still unless I am actively playing. I am a wonderful dog who is great with both adults and children.
