Hi, I’m Yondu.   I’m not quite ready to be adopted, but you can come back here occasionally to check my progress and find out when to submit an application.

Meet Yondu!

Yondu is a handsome pup who is still settling into rescue life, and his foster family is enjoying getting to know his personality more each day. What we do know so far is that Yondu is a sweet soul with a curious spirit and a gentle heart. He’s taking everything in stride and showing just how resilient and adaptable he can be.

Yondu enjoys spending time with his people and appreciates both playtime and quieter moments to relax and observe the world around him . As he continues to gain confidence, we expect his personality to shine even brighter. He’s eager to learn, responds well to routine, and will thrive in a home that offers patience, consistency, and lots of love .

Yondu will do best with an adopter who understands that rescue dogs need time to decompress and adjust. A calm, supportive home will help him continue building confidence. He may do well with other dogs , especially ones who can help show him the ropes, and a fenced yard would be a bonus for safe outdoor time —but not a requirement.

Whether you’re a first-time giant breed owner or someone with experience, Yondu’s loving nature and willingness to learn make him a wonderful companion in the making .

Until the profile is removed from the public’s view, this dog is considered available for adoption. To apply to adopt from Just Giants Rescue fill out an online. All approved applications are good for 12 months. All dogs adopted from Just Giants Rescue are up to date on vaccines (Rabies, DHPP, Bordetella), microchipped, and spayed or neutered. Some exceptions may apply. All adoption fees are non-refundable; Just Giants is a NFP 501(c)3 organization.

• Transportation from the foster home to the adopter is the responsibility of the adopter to coordinate. Just Giants does not adopt outside of the continental US.
