When our volunteer finished her shift at PetSmart last week, she didn’t expect to find "merchandise" left behind in a basket. But there they were: Bart and Lisa. Two tiny, huddled souls left in a plastic cart like something someone decided they didn’t want at the last minute. They weren't toys or bags of food—they were living, breathing babies who were terrified and alone.
Today, the view is much different. Bart and Lisa are safe in a loving foster home. 🏠 They are still learning that hands are for petting, not for leaving. They are still finding their "brave," but every purr is a victory. Can you blame them for being cautious? After being treated as disposable, they are waiting for someone to show them they are indispensable.
Bart & Lisa are looking for a forever home where they can stay together.
Status: Bonded Pair 🐾🐾
Personality: Sweet, shy, and soulful.
Goal: A patient family to help them finish their journey toward trust.
