JESSE is a 7 month old stunning brown and white tabby with silky soft fur and lovely eyeliner markings. He is laid back, affectionate and playful. His favorite things are chasing red dots, wrestling, ambushing his brothers (Jack and Gordy), snuggles, and interactive toys.
Hey there, I’m Jesse. If you’re looking for a companion who is equal parts lounge cat and laser chaser, I am your guy. I like to sit up in the cat tree either napping or watching what is going on around me. But once the red dot appears I transform into a playful tornado of fun. Then, after all that activity, I love to lie on you and luxuriate in being gently brushed, getting neck scratches and cheek rubs. And to let you know that I like you, I’ll bump my nose against your face. If you’re ready for a cool cat who knows when it's time to play and when it’s time to boop noses while snuggling, I’m the one for you.
Jesse is in the same foster home as his brothers, Jack and Gordy, and they love playing and cuddling together if you are wanting two kittens. A home without dogs would be his preference, but, as you can see, if it’s a small dog who likes and respects cats, he would be fine. Jesse uses the carpeted scratching tree like a good boy. He has not been around other cats or children in the program. If he goes to a home with children, the child should be 12+ years old. Remember, cats can live 18+ years so be sure you can give them their forever homes.
Jesse is neutered, FeLV and FIV negative and distemper and rabies vaccinated. His adoption fee is $200 (or $350 for a pair). Call 651-771-5662 to inquire about this sweet, adorable boy.

Initial contact is made by leaving a message on the Second Chance's answering machine - expect a return call within 24 hours. Potential adopters will be screened before a referral is made to the foster home where the animal is currently housed. They can expect to fill out a written application, sign an adoption contract and pay the adoption fee when meeting the animals. Adopters must be at least 20 years old. If renting, the landlord's consent in writing is required or a copy of the lease brought with adopter at time of adoption. Must have familiarity with local animal ordinances so you know how many cats/dogs you are permitted - this will vary from city to city. Potential adopters must understand that their application can be denied.
