I’m a 2-year-old Mini Schnauzer weighing about 18 pounds, and I’m on the hunt for my forever family. I had a bit of a rough beginning—I was found all by myself, dirty and very matted. The nice people at the rescue gave me a fresh start (and a full shave!), and now I’m ready for my happily ever after.
Even after all that, I’m a super sweet, loving little guy. I still have lots of puppy energy and love to play! I get along great with other dogs and would be over-the-moon happy if my new home had another young dog to wrestle and play with. I try to get the senior dogs here to join in too… but they mostly just watch me like I’m silly.
When I’m not playing, I’m perfecting my lap-dog skills. If you sit down, I will happily curl up in your lap and stay there all day if you let me. Being loved on is my favorite thing in the whole world.
I’m doing really well with house training (about 90% there!) and I’m crate trained too. I haven’t met kids or cats yet, but my foster thinks I’d do just fine with them if we take introductions slow—I can definitely keep up with a kid’s energy!
I’m ready to give all my love to a family who will give me the same in return. If you’re looking for a playful best friend, a cuddle buddy, and a loyal little shadow, I might just be your guy.
