If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Tennessee is a wonderful dog in all respects. He is *only* available for adoption due to the cat's refusal to accept him into the home, leaving me with a difficult choice. He's fine, but the cat has been pure chaos for 6 months.
Tennessee is just over 1 year old, 65 pounds at his last weigh-in, house trained, good on a leash, good with other dogs and respectful of cats. He loves to play and go for walks; in short, a perfect, healthy dog. He is gentle and sweet, not given to destructive chewing or other less than desirable behaviors.
He needs a fenced yard to hang out in, and someone who will play ball with him and take him out to meet people and other dogs on a couple of daily walks, no crates please (not sure he is crate-trained anyway).
