My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I am the beautiful Lilly, a one-year-old, long-haired orange gal, which is a very special thing as orange girl cats are rare. I was dumped on the street in Amman, Jordan with my kittens when they were barely 7 days old. I was panicking, worried about their well-being and struggling to keep them safe in a very busy area. Then a very kind lady passed by, collected all of us, and brought us to the vet. Unfortunately, I lost two of my babies. After we were checked, she took us to her home until my babies were all grown and healthy. We have been thriving indoors ever since, which is why CDA was contacted to find us homes in the United States.

I am very friendly, open to love and cuddles, and very curious and smart. I am not a huge fan of other cats, so I prefer to be the only queen in my kingdom. I am fully vaccinated, spayed, litterbox trained and ready to find my furever home.

Their adoption process

1.

Interview

First, we have a chat with the potential adopter to see if they are eligible to fill out an adoption application.

2.

Submit Application

After we have a chat, if we feel like the adopter shows promise, we offer them an adoption application.

3.

Home Check

If their application gets approved, we conduct another video call where we do a home walk-through.

4.

Approve Application

If all goes well, then we will proceed with approving the application.

Additional adoption info

We conduct our interviews in video form so that we can gain a better idea of whether or not the applicant is eligible for consideration in adopting one of our rescue animals. If we feel that the person may be a good fit, we will do a meet and greet with the rescue they are interested in adopting,
