If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Quartz is a handsome FIV+ hunk who spent about three years as a community cat before coming into foster care in early October, just in time to avoid another brutal winter outside.
He is fully vetted: neutered, vaccinated, microchipped & currently thriving on a prescription GI diet after completing parasite treatment, with follow-up labs confirming he’s medically stable.
Quartz is an incredibly sweet, gentle soul. He greets his people with soft chirps, loves morning snuggles on the chest, and happily gives kisses. He’s also discovering the joy of play and toys in foster care. Quartz is sensitive to loud noises and high energy, and we are working with a behavioralist to help redirect trauma-based (PTSD) responses.
He would do best in a calm, low-key home. He can be a solo cat, or potentially live with another calm cat in a home with an experienced adopter who understands slow introductions and behavior support.
